While the whole crypto market was suffering from Elon Musk’s random tweets, FUD of China banning bitcoin, and a lot of different rumors, there were some coins that skyrocketed during the time.

Lead by AXS (token for Axie Infinity) and SKILL (token for Crypto Blades), a lot of gaming NFT are getting attention and performing really well.

Since Axie Infinity’s entry price is fairly high, people are leaning to look for an alternative, and this is how CryptoBlades is hyped up.

In the last 30 days, CryptoBlades experienced an 8861% increase in users, 1943% increase in transactions volume. Not only that, their token, SKILL, went from less than $1 to now more than $150 in a week or two. It changed so many peoples’ lives, and many more are able to support their families through just playing CryptoBlades.

Here, we provide all the information you need for CryptoBlades as well as some hidden tips you may not know yet!

Why CryptoBlades?

  • Play to Earn
Being able to play and earn is the biggest selling point of CryptoBlades. While other games like Axie Infinity requires users to spend hours playing every day in order to actually earn, playing CryptoBlades won’t take you more than 30 mins a day.
  • Insane ROI
Another reason that brought people into CryptoBlades is the high return rate. In the past few days, users were able to earn an average of more than $150 for every account. You will be able to get your initial investment back in less than a week.
*In the picture below the account is 2 days old, and is capable of earning $147.97 if all the battles were won.

  • Community
You can tell how popular CryptoBlades is just by looking at their discord. If you send a message in discord and go pour yourself a cup of water, it is very unlikely that you will ever see your message again as it becomes swamped in messages from other users.

They are super helpful, and I highly suggest people check them out if you have any questions.

On top of that, playing CryptoBlades itself is also exciting, but those are definitely the top reasons that drive this game crazy.

Let’s get into the gameplay as well as some tips.

Gameplay

Characters
In CryptoBlades, you need Characters along with weapons (Blades) in order to battle. For every account, the maximum number of characters one can have is 4.
There are currently 2 ways to get a character.
- Recruit or mint.
There will be a button in the Plaza tab where users can mint a new character. The character minted is guaranteed to be level 1 and full stamina. However, it is totally random for the elements of the characters as well as the looks.

*One really nice thing that CryptoBlades did is that they adjust the recruiting price according to the SKILL price, so it is always around the same value in USD and doesn’t change the entry-level even when the price of SKILL skyrocketed.
- Buy from secondary market.
This is a better option if you know what you are looking for. You can often find cheaper characters in the market that other users are trying to sell. Also, you will be able to choose the elements, levels, as well as see all the important information if you’re buying from the market.

  • Weapons
Besides characters, you will also need weapons in order to start fights and earning money.
Unlike characters, there are no limits on the number of weapons that one account can hold.
Similar to Characters, you can also get weapons by forging (minting) or from buying in the secondary market.
Every weapon also has its own elements and rarity. Usually, people pair water characters with water weapons, fire with fire… etc.
The usage of a weapon is not tied to a character, so one weapon may be used by all four of your characters.

  • Combat (Fight)
The most important feature in CryptoBlades. This is mainly where you earn money in CryptoBlades.
In the Combat tab, you’ll be able to choose your characters and the weapons you would like to equip, and you will be faced with 4 different enemies.
For each battle, it cost 40 stamina of the characters you use and 1 durability of the weapon. Stamina is restoring at a rate of 1 per 5 minutes, while durability is 1 per 48 minutes.
There are 4 elements in total: Fire>Earth>Lightning>Water
They are counters against one another so think twice before you choose who you want to fight!
*Usually we choose either the one we have an advantage in element to fight with, or we fight the one that has the lowest power.

Q&A and Tips

Are we too late to join now?
-
In my opinion, it might not be too late. Of course, you won’t be earning like those we joined weeks ago, but the current earning rate is still way above other play-to-earn games. Calculating using the current SKILL price and reward, a new account can earn around $25 using the worst combination you can find. It takes around 0.3 SKILL to buy a character on market, so you’ll need around $156 for getting a full team. If you play constantly and keep the win-rate high, you will be able to earn back your investment in 6 days and start earning profit.

The SKILL price is too high already, is it crashing soon?
-
First of all, no one can really predict when the market will crash or not, but I am still quite bullish on SKILL. Here is my why.
Looking at the total token supply, there is only 1 million SKILL. Comparing to AXS which currently has a 55 million circulating supply, the price of SKILL is definitely not too high yet.

Market Cap
AXS: 2.7 Billion
SKILL: 100 Million
Based on how popular the game actually is, I wouldn’t be surprised if SKILL price goes to $1000 or even more, even though they still have a smaller market cap than AXS.

Finally, here are some useful tips for someone who is currently thinking of getting into CryptoBlades.

  • Build a team with 4 characters that have same element
As we know, 1 weapon can be used for all 4 characters, so if you build a team with the same elements of characters, it will save you some money in buying weapons. Since you only need to buy one.
  • Take advantage of in-game staking
You may notice there is a 15% tax decreasing by 1 % every day when you are trying to withdraw your earning. Staking can actually solve the problem. CryptoBlades offer to stake for the rewards you earned, which will be locked for 7 days, but you will be able to take them out without any tax at the end of the period. Moreover, users are able to stake more without restarting the 7-day timer. I highly recommend people to stake as soon as they start earning.
  • Only claim XP when you need to
In CryptoBlades, the XP you earned after finishing battles have to be claimed manually. But it only really makes a difference if the character is leveling up to the next batch (for example: level 11, level 21 etc…)
There is nearly 0 difference between a level 1 and a level 9 character, so be wise and only claim when you have to!
  • Setting the gas limit manually
You may notice that we are paying the gas fee in BNB for every battle we fight, although it is not a lot, it can be quite annoying when we are fighting so many battles a day.
So instead of using the default 500000 gwei limit, change it to 210000 and reduce the gas fee. The transactions will still go through :)
  • Know your win rate before fighting
This website tells you the approximate win rate if you put the correct information in. It is not worth it to fight those with higher power just for some extra XP, check this site if you’re not sure which one to fight!
